Option 1: Try it online

If you don’t want to setup TYPO3 to your local server, then you can try https://get.typo3.org/#try-online by choosing Bitnami, Amazone AWS or Platform.sh

Step 1: Go to https://get.typo3.org/ and choose the latest version like current TYPO3 v9 LTS https://get.typo3.org/version/9

Step 2: Check the compatibility of your server with TYPO3, Read this System Requirement

Step 3: TYPO3 can be installed in variance way like Git, Composer, etc. For now, You can simply download zip package https://get.typo3.org/9/zip

Step 4: Put the code at your server, run the cool and easy Installation Wizard.

I suggest avoiding learning editor-level knowledge and theme integration from zero. For the learning purpose, It’s nice to set up a ready-made available theme. Let’s try an official TYPO3 Introduction package theme.

Step 1: Log in to your TYPO3 Backend yourdomain.com/typo3/

Step 2: Go to Admin tools > Extensions, Choose “Get pre-configured distribution”

Step 3: Select the Introduction package and click on the Install button.
